Scientific method overview

We make observations and from those observations we are able to make an inference that we can test. This is called an hypothesis. We design an experiment to test this hypothesis and we run through the hypothesis and find out the results. If the results support the hypothesis, we can conclude that our inference may be correct. If our results do not support the hypothesis, we must reassess our hypothesis and create a new hypothesis and test it.
